Article body
The Russian Premier-Liga's bottom side, SC Rotor Volgograd, have reappointed Vladimir Faizulin as coach.
Short spell
Faizulin replaces Vitali Shevchenko, who stood down after just two games at the helm following Sunday's 1-0 home defeat by FC Torpedo Moskva. That result leaves Rotor, now on to their fourth coach this year, languishing seven points adrift at the foot of the table.
Health problems
Faizulin spent more than ten years as an assistant coach at the club, before he was appointed to the top job in 2002 and steered the team away from relegation. He was retained and led Rotor to 12th the following season, before stepping down on health grounds in April.
Torrid time
Yuri Marushkin briefly took the role after Faizulin had vacated it, before handing over to Valeriy Yaremchenko at the end of April. Yaremchenko managed almost five weeks at the helm before Shevchenko took the reins just ten days ago.
