Feeder club route
Although the Romanian First Division transfer window has closed, the 26-year-old midfield player will be able to play for Rapid after being registered with their second division feeder side, CS Electromagnetica Bucuresti. Under league regulations, clubs are allowed to share a common list of 12 players with their feeder teams, eligible to represent either side.
Three-year deal
Aliuta, who has signed a three-year deal, has been capped three times by Romania. His former clubs include FC Farul Constanta, Moldova's FC Sheriff and Ukrainian team FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
