FC Lokomotiv Moskva climbed to the top of the Russian Premier League with a 3-1 win against FC Spartak Moskva.

FC Lokomotiv Moskva scored two goals in two minutes against local rivals FC Spartak Moskva as they climbed to the top of the Russian Premier League.

Bilyaletdinov double
Diniyar Bilyaletdinov opened the scoring just before the hour in Saturday's match before Roman Pavlyuchenko levelled on 72 minutes. But Lokomotiv struck back immediately with Bilyaletdinov collecting his second of the game before Ruslan Pimenov gave the visitors a two-goal cushion a couple of minutes later. Lokomotiv held on to win 3-1 to move above FC Zenit St. Petersburg - who were in action on Sunday - to the top of the table.

Big win
FC Krylya Sovietov Samara recorded the biggest victory of the weekend with a 4-1 win at FC Alania Vladikavka. Krylya took a first-half lead through Robertas Poskus before Dmitry Smirnov equalised just after the break. Brazilian midfield player Jóse Souza restored Krylya's lead on 54 minutes before two goals in two minutes, from Andriy Kariaka and Poskus again, sealed the victory.

Zenit shock
Zenit had the chance to move back above both both Lokomotiv and Krylya on Sunday but were surprisingly beaten 1-0 by mid-table FC Rostov at the Petrovski stadium. Czech left-back Pavel Mares' own-goal ten minutes after half-time settled the match and meant Zenit dropped to third place.

Moscow malaise
In Saturday's other game, FC Shinnik Yaroslavl beat PFC CSKA Moskva 2-1, taking a two-goal lead through Emir Spahic and Anrejs Rubins to render Dmitri Kirichenko's penalty little consolation. Fourth-placed FC Torpedo Moskva were unable to capitalise fully on CSKA's defeat as they conceded an 87th-minute goal from Hector Andres Bracamonte to draw 1-1 against FC Moskva.

Strugglers win
At the other end of the table, FC Kuban Krasnodar earned a narrow 1-0 victory away at fellow strugglers FC Dinamo Moskva. Croatian striker Marijan Vuka scored the only goal of the game with 20 minutes remaining to take Kuban to within three points of Dinamo. Finally, bottom side SC Rotor Volgograd earned only their eighth point of the season with a 1-1 draw against FC Amkar Perm.

Saturn sixth
In Monday's game, FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast climbed to sixth place in the table thanks to a narrow 1-0 win at FC Rubin Kazan, Uruguayan midfield player Javier Omar Delgado scoring the only goal with 14 minutes remaining.
