The Viola have bought 50 per cent of each player's licence to bolster their squad five days before the new Serie A season begins. Chiellini's transfer from Juventus FC comes after less than three months at the club. The 20-year-old moved to the Turin giants after helping AS Livorno Calcio gain promotion from Serie B last season.
Three-year deal
He will be joined in Florence by Jørgensen who penned a three-year deal after undergoing a medical this morning. The 28-year-old arrives from Udinese Calcio after seven seasons at the Friuli stadium. He helped the Bianconeri to a UEFA Cup spot last term before travelling to Portugal for UEFA EURO 2004™, though his impact there was hampered by a thigh injury.
