Medical passed
The 27-year-old had been set to move to SBV Vitesse earlier this week but a deal could not be agreed. However, he has now signed a year-long contract with NAC, having passed a medical this morning. Lurling has been looking for a new club after being told he did not figure in Feyenoord coach Ruud Gullit's plans for the campaign.
New start
"It is better for Anthony to play at NAC for a year, so he can stay in the picture for Feyenoord or for another interested club," said the Rotterdam team's technical manager Marc Wotte. Lurling, who joined Feyenoord in 2002 from SC Heerenveen, is under contract at De Kuip until summer 2006.
