AC Siena drew 1-1 with FC Messina Peloro to complete a 2-1 Coppa Italia second round aggregate triumph.

AC Siena completed the Coppa Italia third-round lineup tonight as a 1-1 draw with FC Messina Peloro completed a 2-1 aggregate triumph.

Cirillo strike
Bruno Cirillo gave the home side a 69th-minute lead before former Juventus FC forward Nicola Amoruso pulled one back for Messina. But the away side were unable to find the second goal that would have given them a place in the last 16, as Siena progressed to meet AS Roma over two legs either side of New Year.
