Inter must settle for a point

Members

FC Internazionale Milano are still looking for their first Serie A win after drawing with US Città di Palermo.

Chances to win
Brazilian striker Adriano, who was partnered by Julio Cruz in attack, put Inter ahead a minute after the break from Zé Maria's cross, but Palermo drew level 12 minutes later through a close-range effort from Luca Toni. Both sides had chances to win the game in the closing stages, as Palermo forward Franco Brienza shot against a post while Adriano was denied a second goal by the crossbar.

Lecce's first win
In the day's other match, US Lecce recorded their first win of the season as goals from Valeri Bojinov (2), Sasa Bielanovic and Guillermo Giacomazzi ensured a 4-1 success against Brescia Calcio at the Stadio del Mare.

Almeyda sent off
Brescia actually led through a superb Andrea Caracciolo goal after 27 minutes but Bojinov levelled with a long-distance shot before half-time. Bielanovic made it 2-1 after 51 minutes and two became three when Bojinov got his second in the 73rd minute. Brescia then lost midfield player Matías Almeyda to a red card and Giacomazzi subsequently added a fourth.
