Security not in question
Officials said that the supporter had fallen some 12 metres. Police said that, following the sending-off of FCK captain Bo Svensson, he grabbed the railing at the very front of the stand in protest and leant over, before tumbling over the edge. Security at the stadium is not being questioned.
Fans praised
"We are all in shock right now, but I would like to praise the many fans for not panicking and for making space for the rescue team," said FCK chairman Flemming Østergaard. The Danish Football Association ruled today that the match would not be replayed and that the 0-0 score after 71 minutes would stand as the final result.
