Unbeaten run
Tre Penne won three and drew two of five matches since the start of the month. Libertas, meanwhile, began October with their only defeat so far, a 2-1 reverse at GS Dogana, but picked up ten points from the following four games before sitting out the ninth round of league action.

League structure
The San Marino Championship comprises 15 sides divided into two groups - one of seven and one of eight. For the first six matches of the season, teams play the other sides in their section, but from the seventh and eighth rounds onwards, the competition becomes mixed with inter-group games.
