A last-gasp Waldir Lucas Pereira equaliser earned AC Ajaccio a 1-1 draw at home to Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais, but the French champions remain five points clear of LOSC Lille Métropole, who were held by Paris Saint-Germain FC.
Ajaccio relief
Under intense pressure from the home side, Lyon looked to have snatched an unlikely victory when Juninho Pernambucano fired in a superb free-kick with just two minutes left. Nicolas Puydebois had already made a series of fine saves by then, but could not stop substitute Pereira's added-time header. However, Ajaccio stay in the relegation zone.
Lille held
Mathieu Bodmer put Lille ahead on 17 minutes at PSG, only for Reinaldo to score his first goal at the Parc des Princes eleven minutes from the break and ensure the visitors' fourth straight draw.
Marseille third
Olympique de Marseille are in third tonight after Philippe Troussier's first game in charge ended with a 3-2 victory at SM Caen. Marseille, 3-1 up at one point, had to hold on as although Caen had Cédric Hengbart sent off, they hit back through Cyrille Watier and had a goal disallowed in the frantic final moments.
Istres win
At the bottom, FC Istres finally secured their first win of the season at home to fellow strugglers SC Bastia. Moussa N'Diaye scored the only goal after Pierre-Yves André had been dismissed for the visitors. Istres remain last, two places behind RC Strasbourg, who held FC Sochaux-Montbéliard 0-0. Sochaux stay fourth, now behind Marseille but ahead of AS Monaco FC, who on Friday defeated Stade Rennais FC 2-0.
Goalless draw
AS Saint-Etienne and Toulouse FC played out a goalless draw, RC Lens overcame FC Metz 2-0, and OGC Nice won 1-0 at FC Nantes Atlantique. AJ Auxerre welcome FC Girondins de Bordeaux on Sunday.
