The 26-year-old winger, who has agreed a two-year deal with a 12-month extension option, chose Spartak ahead of FC Lokomotiv Moskva, FC Dinamo Moskva and FC Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as an offer to stay at Rubin. Spartak finished eighth in the Russian Premier League this season, two places above Rubin.
Tempting offer
Capped five times by Russia since making his debut against Norway this April, Boyarintsev said: "This great club are going to try and get back to their old position in Russian football. It's an interesting and tempting challenge. Spartak are building a new team where I can be one of the key players."
