Brief spell
Cajuda had won just one game since replacing Englishman Mick Wadsworth - a shock 1-0 victory against champions FC Porto at the Estádio do Dragão two weeks ago - and has decided to step down, saying: "There are always things that don't go to plan.
Deserve better
"I am at a club that deserves the best results and I couldn't bring them," added the 53-year-old, who quit as coach of CS Marítimo earlier this season following their opening-day defeat by CF Os Belenenses. "There were a few problems that led me to this decision." Aveiro-based Beira-Mar are 14th in the SuperLiga, one point above the relegation zone.
