Article body
FC Zenit St. Peterburg have made two high-profile acquisitions with the signing of Croatian defender Ivica Krizanac and F.Y.R. Macedonia striker Dragan Cadikovski.
Polish honours
Krizanac has been courted by the Russian side for more than a month and the 25-year-old Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski player has now moved for a reported €600,000. Last season he was named the best defender and foreign player in the Polish Ekstraklasa and for Zenit is set to partner fellow new signing Erik Hagen at the back.
Cadikovski move
Meanwhile in attack, 22-year-old Cadikovski has left Slovenian side NK Publikum for Zenit, having already scored eight goals in the first half of the domestic season for his now former club. Having made his international debut in February, he already has five caps and at Zenit is to challenge Russia forwards Andrei Arshavin and Aleksandr Kerzhakov for a starting berth.
