Di Napoli scored 19 goals last season to help Messina return to Serie A after an absence of 39 years. This term the 30-year-old has registered five goals in 13 matches. Di Napoli made his top-flight debut in 1995 with SSC Napoli (now Napoli Soccer 2004) and has also played for Vicenza Calcio, Empoli FC, Piacenza FC and AC Venezia.
