AC Ajaccio struggled at Ligue 2 leaders AS Nancy Lorraine before advancing 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw while in a tight Brittany derby, Stade Rennais FC overcame Stade Brestois 29 by a 1-0 margin after extra time.
