Former Player of the Year
Terek have paid just under €1m for goalkeeper Ruslan Nigmatullin and defender Gennady Nizhegorodov, with both players signing two-year contracts. Terek are the seventh club of Nigmatullin's - Russian Player of the Year in 2001 - career.
Spell in Italy
A title winner with FC Spartak Moskva, he played in Italy with Hellas-Verona FC and AC Chievo Verona before returning to Lokomotiv ahead of the 2003 season. His last international appearance was in August 2002 and he has been reserve goalkeeper to Sergei Ovchinnikov throughout his time with Lokomotiv.
Free agent
Nizhegorodov, meanwhile, leaves Lokomotiv after a five-year stay, during which he won two league championships. Capped nine times by Russia, he had refused to extend his contract with the Moscow club and became a free agent at the end of December.
