Sturing has earned the new deal by guiding Vitesse to sixth place in the Eredivisie this season - his second full term in charge at the Gelredome, though he had previously had caretaker roles on three occasions.
Optimistic
"Together with everyone at the club I want to make Vitesse a force to be reckoned with over the next two and a half years," said Sturing, who played for Vitesse from 1987-98 before becoming assistant coach at the club.
