SC Braga moved to within two points of the SuperLiga summit with a 4-1 defeat of Vitória FC on Monday.

SC Braga avenged their recent Portuguese Cup defeat at the hands of Vitória FC by defeating the Setubal side 4-1 in the SuperLiga on Monday night and climbing above Boavista FC and Sporting Clube de Portugal into third place.

Fortunes reversed
Last Wednesday's 3-2 defeat was consigned to the history books as Jaime and João Tomás put Braga on course for victory with first-half goals before Barroso and Paulo Sérgio added further strikes after the break. Igor's consolation for Vitória could not prevent Braga moving within two points of joint-leaders FC Porto and SL Benfica.
