Belgian First Division leaders Club Brugge KV stayed on course for a domestic double with a 5-4 aggregate victory against RAA Louviéroise in the Belgian Cup quarter-finals.
Eloi scare
After drawing the first leg 2-2, Brugge, who lead the Belgian top-flight by six points, won the second leg 3-2 but had looked to be heading out of the competition when Wagneau Eloi headed La Louvière into the lead on the half-hour mark.
Lierse await
However, Gert Verheyen restored parity before half-time with a deflected effort and second-half headers from Rune Lange and David Rozehnal put Brugge out of reach. Matthieu Maton narrowed the deficit seven minutes from time but it came too late to prevent Trond Sollied's side reaching the last four, where they will face K. Lierse SK.
