Pierre-Alain Frau scored twice as runaway Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais drew with FC Nantes Atlantique.

Pierre-Alain Frau scored twice as Olympique Lyonnais came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw at FC Nantes Atlantique on Saturday to go 14 points clear of LOSC Lille Métropole at the top of Ligue 1.

Team changes
With one eye on his side's UEFA Champions League quarter-final return leg with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, coach Paul Le Guen made six changes from the team that had drawn 1-1 with PSV on Tuesday. And initially his new-look side responded well to the challenge.

Lyon equaliser
Frau put Lyon ahead with an angled strike on 36 minutes only for Argentinian Mauro Cetto to pull Nantes level moments before half-time. Nantes then went ahead thanks to striker Mamadou Bagayoko's diving header in the 63rd minute, but Frau levelled for Lyon with seven minutes to play.

Marseille defeat
Olympique de Marseille fell further off the pace after losing 1-0 away to RC Strasbourg. Mamadou Niang got the only goal of the game in added time at the end of the match to extend Marseille's slump. They have now won just once in their last six matches.
Fabien Barthez was in excellent form for Marseille, but was eventually beaten by Niang from a corner.

Lille second
Marseille remain third on goal difference, level on points with LOSC Lille Métropole whose match against AS Monaco FC was postponed following the death of Prince Rainier III.

Rennes trumph
Stade Rennais FC clinched their first away victory of the season at seventh-placed Toulouse FC, winning 2-0. Alexander Frei scored the opener on 25 minutes with his leading 15th goal of the season before Kim Källström added a second four minutes from the end.

Saint-Etienne win
AS Saint-Etienne beat lowly SC Bastia 3-0 at home to go ninth in the table while FC Sochaux-Montbéliard in eighth, defeated bottom side FC Istres 2-0 in the first match at Istres' new Parsemain stadium.

PSG draw
In the evening's other matches, Paris Saint-Germain FC drew 1-1 with FC Girondins de Bordeaux, SM Caen were defeated 1-0 at home by FC Metz, and RC Lens drew 0-0 at home to OGC Nice.
