Club Brugge KV stayed on course for a domestic double as Nastja Ceh confirmed their place in the Belgian Cup final.

By Berend Scholten

Club Brugge KV remain on course for a domestic double after Nastja Ceh's first-half goal completed a 2-0 aggregate victory against K. Lierse SK in their Belgian Cup semi-final.

Ceh decisive
Leading 1-0 from the first leg, Brugge - who are six points clear in the Belgian First Division and need just one point to claim a 13th league championship - secured victory at Lierse thanks to Ceh's 30th-minute effort. The Slovenian international midfielder curled a free-kick over the wall and into the bottom left-hand corner, leaving goalkeeper Yves Van der Straeten with no chance.

Wednesday conclusion
Brugge's final opponents in Brussels on 29 May will be the winners of the second semi-final between KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen and KSC Lokeren OV, which concludes on Wednesday night.
