KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen will join Club Brugge KV in the Belgian Cup final after playing out a scoreless draw at home against KSC Lokeren OV to move through on away goals after the first match ended 1-1.
Cavens close
The home side were stronger in the first half, with Jurgen Cavens close to opening the scoring, but he saw his attempt cleared off the line by defender Lezou Doba.
Ademílson miss
In the second half it was the same story but Lokeren looked to have saved their energy for the final stages. With three minutes left Aristide Bance saw his header bounce off team-mate Taílson, only for Ademílson to shoot over from the rebound.
UEFA Cup berth
Germinal Beerschot will meet Brugge in the final in Brussels on 28 May and will therefore qualify for the 2005/06 UEFA Cup, as their final opponents are already guaranteed a place in the UEFA Champions League next season.
