News round-up: Brazilian striker Reinaldo has left Paris Saint-Germain FC for Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol.

Also in France, 29-year-old defender Alexandre Dujeux has quit Le Havre AC for newly promoted ES Troyes AC on a permanent basis following a successful six-month loan spell. The former AJ Auxerre apprentice has signed a one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months if Troyes avoid relegation.

Greek top-flight newcomers Larissa FC have recruited goalkeeper Stefanos Kotsolis on loan from Panathinaikos FC for a season with an option for an extra three years. Having played just eight league matches since turning professional in 1997, the 26-year-old said: "I want to play football and establish myself through the team's success."

Another side making a top-flight return are Sparta Rotterdam, who have strengthened their squad for the forthcoming Dutch Eredivisie campaign by acquiring Jason Oost from RKC Waalwijk. The 22-year-old forward arrives on a free transfer having scored seven times in 18 starts last season.

Ex-Netherlands Under-21 defender Michael Dingsdag has penned a new improved contract at SBV Vitesse. The 22-year-old left-back has inked a deal keeping him at the Arnhem club until the summer of 2008.

In Belgium, KSK Beveren have reinforced their defence by signing Jonathan Joseph-Augustin from French Ligue 2 side Chamois Niortais FC. The 24-year-old former French youth international, who has accepted a three-year contract, follows coach Vincent Dufour who left Niort for Beveren last month.

Belgian top-flight newcomers SV Zulte-Waregem have landed three players from KAA Gent, including 31-year-old former Belgian international Tjörven De Brul. Former KSC Lokeren OV and Club Brugge KV centre-half De Brul has penned a two-year contract. In addition, Frenchman Matthieu Verschuère, a 33-year-old defensive midfielder, has agreed a two-year deal with the second division champions while 21-year-old striker Tim Matthys joins on a one-year loan.

Another Belgian side bolstering their squad are R. Excelsior Mouscron, who have secured the services of Croatian striker Ivica Zuljevic. The 25-year-old, who scored 12 goals for NK Medimurje last term, has signed a two-year deal with the option of an additional 12 months.

IF Elfsborg will be without first-choice goalkeeper Johan Wiland for two months after the 24-year-old broke his arm in the 3-1 win against Malmö FF. The former Swedish Under-21 international was replaced by Abbas Hassan with 30 minutes of yesterday's game remaining but Elfsborg coach Magnus Haglund said: "We will have to take a look and decide whether to bring in a new first-choice keeper or a reserve."

One happy goalkeeper is DSC Arminia Bielefeld's Mathias Hain, who has signed a contract extension with the Bundesliga side. The 32-year-old captain's deal was set to expire next summer but he will now stay until 2008.

Elsewhere in Germany, 27-year-old Marcel Ketelaer has left 1. FC Nürnberg after making just four substitute league appearances last season. The left-sided midfielder has signed a one-year deal with 2. Bundesliga team LR Ahlen.

Boavista FC have completed a double swoop for Brazilian striker William de Souza and Vitória FC midfielder Manuel José. Also in Portugal, forward Rui Miguel is set to return to A. Académica de Coimbra after a one-year loan at Sporting de Pombal.

Aberdeen FC have confirmed the signing of former Dunfermline AFC and Dundee FC goalkeeper Jamie Langfield, 25, on a three-year deal.

Finally, Irish Premier Division side Waterford United FC are looking for someone to take the helm after Alan Reynolds stepped down as player-manager. The 31-year-old, who was sent off in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Finn Harps FC, took charge of his hometown club in 2004 and led them to the Irish Cup final in his first season.
