Leeds United AFC midfielder Aaron Lennon is heading to Premiership club Tottenham Hotspur FC for an undisclosed fee, subject to a medical. The 18-year-old was Leeds's young player of the year last season and made 27 appearances in English football's second tier.
NAC Breda have recruited 27-year-old winger Victor Sikora from Eredivisie runners-up AFC Ajax. Sikora has a year left on the deal he signed at the Amsterdam ArenA in 2002 so will spend the first 12 months on loan before starting a two-year contract with NAC. Sikora, capped six times by the Netherlands, played on loan at SC Heerenveen in 2004/05.
Meanwhile, Dutch rivals Roda JC have landed 27-year-old Alexander Voigt on a free transfer from 1. FC Köln. The left-sided player has signed a two-year deal with the Kerkrade club, where he joins former Köln coach Huub Stevens.
French side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard have signed FK Austria Wien centre-back Rabiu Afolabi for the next four seasons. The 25-year-old played 60 games in two campaigns with the Austrian Cup winners after a five-year spell at R. Standard de Liège that included a term in Italy with SSC Napoli.
Stade Brestois 29 goalkeeper Tony Heurtebis has agreed a two-year contract with Ligue 1 club FC Nantes Atlantique. Nantes general manager Robert Budzynski said the 30-year-old, who has played 177 French top-flight games, will understudy Mickaël Landreau for the coming campaign.
Croatian international Danijel Stefulj has joined lower-league SC Paderborn 07 from Bundesliga side Hannover 96, one of 32 German professional clubs to be granted their playing licence for the forthcoming season. The 32-year-old former NK Dinamo Zagreb defender has signed a two-year contract with Paderborn.
Atromitos Athinon FC have signed Bulgarian international Milen Petkov on a two-year deal. The 31-year-old midfielder, recently released by AEK Athens FC, will move across town to the suburb of Peristeri, where the new team - a merger between Halkidona FC and second division Atromitos Athinon FC - will play.
Elsewhere in Greece, top-flight newcomers Larissa FC have captured 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder Giuseppe Vela Junior on a free transfer from Apollon Kalamarias FC.
Ukrainian side FC Vorskla Poltava will have a new coach for the 2005/06 season after confirming that Volodymyr Muntyan will leave after the final day of the campaign tomorrow. Vorskla will announce Muntyan's replacement on 17 June, with 64-year-old reserve-team coach Viktor Nosov favourite to take charge of the club who have just avoided relegation.
Belgian outfit KSK Beveren have signed 24-year-old Congolese international midfielder Bikinda 'Man' Wamoubi from Cercle Sportif La Mancha in his homeland. Meanwhile, former Swiss international midfielder Fabio Celestini, 29, has secured a permanent switch to relegated Spanish side Levante UD after spending last season on loan from Olympique de Marseille.
Also in Spain, Japanese international forward Yoshito Okubo will spend next season on loan at RCD Mallorca after his initial six-month stay with the team proved a success. Mallorca have agreed a 12-month loan with Okubo's club Cerezo Osaka, with the option of a permanent signing at the end of the 2005/06 campaign. The 23-year-old played 13 league games for Mallorca as they saved their top-flight status.
Scottish Premier League newcomers Falkirk FC have signed two Portuguese players. The 23-year-old midfielder Vítor Manuel Lima Santos joins from Clube Académico de Futebol along with 22-year-old FC Infesta defender Tiago Jonas Ferraz Rodrigues. Another Portuguese player, Sporting Clube de Portugal's 26-year-old goalkeeper Nuno Santos, is also on the move in a loan deal to an as-yet-unknown SuperLiga team after renewing his Sporting contract until 2007.
