The 24-year-old Konchesky arrives at the Premiership newcomers in a €2.9m transfer from London rivals Charlton Athletic FC. He actually began his career in West Ham's youth academy and made his debut for England at the club's Upton Park home in a February 2003 friendly against Australia.
Long stay
Gabbidon, 25, and Collins, 21, have both moved from Cardiff City FC, with all three players signing long-term deals, although the terms have not been disclosed. West Ham have also recruited former Manchester United FC goalkeeper Roy Carroll this summer.
