Powell makes Charlton return

News round-up: Veteran Chris Powell rejoins Charlton Athletic FC as coaching changes are afoot in Albania.

Dutch side RKC Waalwijk have signed striker Hans van de Haar on a free transfer from FC Utrecht. The 30-year-old joins on a two-year contract. The former De Graafschap, KFC Uerdingen 05, SSV Ulm 1846 and SW Bregenz player preferred Waalwijk to promoted Heracles Almelo.

The Football Association of Albania's disciplinary committee has banned the new KS Vllaznia coach Dervish Hadziosmanovic from taking charge of a team at any level for the next two years. The punishment relates to Hadziosmanovic's tenure at Albania's Futsal champions for 2004/05, Erzeni Shijak. During that campaign, the club signed and falsely registered five Montenegrin players who were already registered with the CD Shop Moxart club of Danilovgrad, Montenegro. As a result, Erzeni Shijak have been stripped of their title while Hadziosmanovic has been suspended from all coaching, subject to an appeal.

KS Dinamo Tirana have named Luca Bunacic as their new coach, replacing Argentinian Ramón Cabrero following the club's UEFA Intertoto Cup first-round exit. Meanwhile, FK Tirana's 22-year-old defender Ansi Agolli has joined Swiss side Neuchâtel Xamax FC, and Greek top-flight newcomers Levadiakos FC have landed a second Albanian forward in a fortnight in 24-year-old Mario Gurma, who follows 31-year-old Alban Bushi to the Alpha Ethniki.

Danish Superleague outfit Aalborg BK have signed Faroese international Súni Olsen from GÍ Gøta on a two-year deal. "We have been watching Súni for some time and find him a very interesting prospect," said AaB sporting director Lynge Jacobsen. The 24-year-old previously had a two-season stint in the Netherlands with FC Zwolle.
