Feyenoord will be without Pascal Bosschaart for a month after the utility player tore a hamstring during Friday's friendly against amateurs BVV Barendrecht. The 25-year-old, who is equally comfortable in midfield or defence, hopes to be back for the start of the Eredivisie season on 14 August when Feyenoord take on NAC Breda.

West Bromwich Albion FC's Danish defender Thomas Gaardsoe has agreed a new three-year contract with the English Premiership outfit. French Ligue 1 newcomers Le Mans UC 72 have signed OFK Beograd centre-back Marko Baša on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old Serbo-Montenegrin international is joined at the club by Brazilian forward Tulio De Malo who arrives on loan from Clube Atlético Mineiro.
