Successful seasons
Nineteen-year-old forward Silva impressed on loan at second division SD Éibar last season, scoring five goals. Left-sided midfielder Gavilán, 21, also performed well during a similar spell with CD Tenerife.
Contractual clause
A third recruit from Valencia, 23-year-old midfielder Pablo Redondo who has spent the past two seasons with Albacete Balompié, arrives on a permanent basis but with the Mestalla club securing a buy-back clause in his contract.
Arrivals lounge
Of the other additions, striker Daniel González Güiza, 24, joins from CF Ciudad de Murcia with goalkeepers Luis García, 26, and Juan Jesús Calatayud, 25, coming in from Real Zaragoza and Málaga CF respectively. Club Atlético de Madrid have extended 24-year-old defender Nano's loan for another term, while Real Madrid CF's 23-year-old defender Javier Paredes will sign a three-year contract. The final piece of the jigsaw is expected to be 20-year-old midfielder Alberto Aguilar from Málaga.
