IFK Göteborg came from two goals behind to claim a last-gasp 3-2 win in Hungary against Lombard-Pápa TFC, while there were also narrow victories for FK Žalgiris Vilnius and Tampere United as the UEFA Intertoto Cup second round first-leg programme was completed.
Late drama
Pápa duo Tibor Szabó and Miklós Herczeg had given the home side a two-goal lead just after the hour mark, but their Swedish opponents responded immediately by pulling one back through a Stefan Selakovic penalty. George Mourad then levelled the scores inside the last ten minutes, before Oscar Wendt sealed the comeback with the winning goal at the death.

Tampere will travel to Belgium next week with a 1-0 advantage, after Mikko Hyyhönen struck to condemn R. Charleroi SC to defeat in Finland, while Žalgiris were 2-0 winners at home against Latvian First Division side FC Dinaburg, who are without a coach since Roman Grigorchuk’s departure to UEFA Cup contenders FK Ventspils.
