Opportunities restricted
The 22-year-old French striker, who missed most of last season through injury, moved to Scotland on a year-long loan earlier this summer with a view to getting more first-team football. However, the emergence of forwards Craig Beattie and Craig Maloney meant his opportunities were restricted at Parkhead.

Celtic statement
A Celtic spokesman said: "Unfortunately things didn't work out in a football sense for Jérémie and he wanted to return to England. Everyone at Celtic wishes him all the best for the future." Aliadière added: "I am very disappointed this has not worked out the way I thought it would."
