Feyenoord's Dutch youth international defender Gianni Zuiverloon will spend the season on loan at Eredivisie rivals RKC Waalwijk. "We see Gianni as a big prospect so it's important he plays at the highest level," explained Feyenoord coach Erwin Koeman. "It's good for his development that he gains as much experience as possible at Eredivisie level." The 18-year-old was restricted to ten league appearances at De Kuip last term.
Spanish Primera División newcomers Cádiz CF have signed 27-year-old Uruguayan striker Alexander Medina on a three-year deal from Club Nacional de Football. Medina, who has also played for Uruguay's Liverpool Fútbol Club, scored 32 goals in 48 league games for Nacional.
KAA Gent have signed Christophe Grégoire for an undisclosed fee from Belgian rivals RSC Anderlecht. The 25-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a four-year contract. Grégoire only joined Anderlecht in January from R. Excelsior Mouscron, making six appearances for the Brussels club.
