Nyon match
The European body's staff team will play its traditional match against a local side at the Stade de Colovray opposite UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday 17 October. The visiting team will include local-based players from countries such as Serbia and Montenegro, Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Cameroon and Russia.
Biggest anti-racism campaign
The FARE network's annual Action Week against Racism and Discrimination has grown over the last five seasons into European football's biggest anti-racism campaign. Last year, more than 33 nations were involved in a united effort to rid the game of racism and discrimination.
Anti-racism activities
The 6th Action Week, taking place throughout the continent from 13-25 October, will once again feature activities involving fans, players, clubs, associations, minority organisations, anti-discrimination groups, schools and the sports media. A highlight will be anti-racism events at all UEFA Champions League Matchday 3 games on 18/19 October.
Get involved
In partnership with UEFA, the FARE network asks the entire European football family to participate in the Action Week. The idea for the 2005/06 season is to call for specific action both inside and outside stadiums to encourage and increase migrant and ethnic minority participation at all levels of the game.
