Inzaghi snatches points for Milan

Filippo Inzaghi scored a dramatic winner for AC Milan, but Olympique Lyonnais were held as uefa.com rounds up the action from Saturday evening.

AC Milan had to rely on a dramatic added-time winner from Filippo Inzaghi to take all three points against US Lecce at the San Siro. French giants Olympique Lyonnais had to settle for a share of the spoils, however, as they drew 1-1 with OGC Nice, but fellow UEFA Champions League side LOSC Lille Métropole managed to win with just ten men, as uefa.com rounds up the action from Saturday evening.

Inzaghi winner
On as a substitute, Inzaghi struck in the dying seconds of Milan's match against Lecce, enabling them to close to within two points of leaders Juventus with a 2-1 victory. Andrea Pirlo had opened the scoring with a spectacular free-kick in only the third minute, but Milan were pegged back when Axel Konan scored from close range.

Tavlaridis dismissal
In France, Lille moved up two places to fifth despite playing over 65 minutes with only ten men. Efstathios Tavlaridis was sent off midway through the first half, but Lille prevailed courtesy of Hicham Aboucherouane's goal eight minutes into the second half.

Eleven-point cushion
Leaders Lyon failed to win in the league for only the fourth time this season at Nice. The unbeaten title-holders needed a 75th-minute equaliser from Sidney Govou after Mamadou Bagayoko had put the hosts in front midway through the first half. Lyon remain eleven points clear of second-placed AJ Auxerre.

Record-breaking Lampard
Equally dominant are English champions Chelsea FC, who enjoyed a comfortable victory away to managerless Portsmouth FC, who dismissed Alain Perrin on Thursday. Goals from Hernán Crespo and Frank Lampard – who scored a penalty on his record-breaking 160th consecutive Premiership appearance – saw them win 2-0 to end the day eleven points clear of Arsenal FC.

Game in hand
In Greece, Panathinaikos FC moved to within a point of the top with a 2-1 win against Skoda Xanthi FC. All the goals came in the first half, with Srdjan Andrić and Evangelos Mantzios on target for the UEFA Champions League side. Leaders Olympiacos CFP play their game in hand on Monday.

Sparta woe
Two goals from Libor Došek were not enough for Czech champions AC Sparta Praha as they fell to a 3-2 defeat away against FC Tescoma Zlín. Stanislav Griga's side have now lost eight of their 14 league games, conceding 26 goals in the process, the worst defensive record in the division. Austrian title-holders SK Rapid Wien also suffered disappointment after a goalless draw at FC Wacker Tirol.
