News round-up: Struggling Athletic Club Bilbao have suffered another setback with forward Joseba Etxeberria being sidelined for a month.

The Luxembourg Football Federation has announced that Guy Hellers' national team will take on Belgium in a friendly international at the Josy Barthel stadium on 1 March. The two countries have failed to qualify for both UEFA EURO 2004™ and the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Bulgarian league leaders PFC CSKA Sofia will be missing striker Stoyko Sakaliev for at least six weeks after the 26-year-old suffered the recurrence of a knee injury. Sakaliev will therefore be out of contention when the Premier League season resumes on 4 March.
