FC Internazionale Milano and S.S. Lazio sealed their places in the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia on a night of no goals in Italy.
Lazio progress
A goalless draw at AS Cittadella was enough to send Lazio into the last eight in Thursday evening's early game thanks to Delio Rossi's side having won 2-0 against the last surviving side from Serie C in the competition in the opening leg of the tie in Rome.
Parma denied
Roberto Mancini's Inter then rode their luck to join Lazio in the quarter-finals after earning a 0-0 draw at home against Parma FC despite being outplayed for most of the game. A 1-0 win in the first leg proved to be decisive as new Parma signing Francesco Ruopolo missed two great chances for his side.
