Transfer round-up: Charlton Athletic FC have agreed a fee for Everton FC's Marcus Bent, and are set to sell Jason Euell to Birmingham City FC.

It is one in, one out for Charlton, who have accepted a bid of around €2.2m from Birmingham City FC for forward Jason Euell. The 28-year-old has not played for the club this term. He will fill the gap left by Walter Pandiani's departure from Birmingham for RCD Espanyol.

Bundesliga strugglers 1. FC Nürnberg have signed Brazil defender Gláuber Leandro on a six-month loan from SE Palmeiras with the option of a three-year contract should the club avoid relegation. "I am really looking forward to playing for Nürnberg," said the 22-year-old, who made his international debut in Brazil's friendly against Guatemala in April 2005.

CA Osasuna midfielder Francisco Puñal 'Patxi' has agreed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the high-flying Spanish side. The 30-year-old club stalwart would have been out of contract at the season's end.

Experienced Dutch striker Arie van Lent has left Eintracht Frankfurt to join German third division team SC Rot-Weiss Essen for personal reasons. The 35-year-old, whose 16 goals in 2004/05 helped Eintracht win promotion to the Bundesliga, has penned a three-year deal.

Scottish Premier League leaders Celtic FC have bought Mark Wilson from Dundee United FC. The 21-year-old, who can play as a full-back or midfielder, will cost the Glasgow outfit around €700,000. He made his Dundee United debut in 2000 aged 16, and played 117 league games for the club.

Viking FK have landed Nicolai Stokholm on a three-year contract. The 29-year-old Danish midfielder, who will move to Viking on 1 July from Odense BK, has spent the last three seasons with OB, scoring eight goals in 76 league matches. He previously played for another Danish Superleague side, Akademisk Boldklub.

Meanwhile, Danish champions and Superleague leaders FC København have strengthened their squad ahead of the spring campaign with the signing of Norway defender Brede Hangeland and Canada midfielder Atiba Hutchinson. The 24-year-old Hangeland arrives on a four-year deal from Viking while Hutchinson, 22, joins from Swedish side Helsingborgs IF on a four-and-a-half year contract.

Dutch club Roda JC have recruited defender Davy de Fauw on a three-year deal starting in the summer. The 24-year-old Belgian will come in from Sparta Rotterdam, where he has played since the 2001/02 season, making 126 league appearances and scoring 14 goals.

MKS Odra Wodzislaw Slaski have been boosted by a double loan signing from Legia Warszawa. Odra have acquired the services of 20-year-old midfielder Marcin Smoliński, who has 20 Polish Ekstraklasa appearances to his name, and 19-year-old forward Dariusz Zjawiński, who has yet to start a top-flight match, until 31 December 2006.
