FK Crvena Zvezda have reclaimed the Serbo-Montenegrin First League title after a 2-0 victory against OFK Beograd gave them an unassailable advantage over nearest rivals, and outgoing champions, FK Partizan.

Double chance
Partizan had earlier been held to a 1-1 draw at FK Buducnost Podgorica, meaning that should Crvena Zvezda win, they would go nine points clear with just three matches remaining – an insurmountable margin as Walter Zenga's team have the edge on head-to-head. In the end, that was not required as Dusan Djokić scored both goals in a 2-0 triumph against OFK, sending the majority of the 10,000 crowd packed inside the Crvena Zvezda stadium into delirious celebration. The two sides meet again on 10 May in the Serbo-Montenegrin Cup final.
