No limits
The unusual deal means Meyer can step down whenever he likes, but will not be entitled to any compensation. "The club will have to pay nothing if I leave," he said. "On the other hand, it is open for me to be able to leave at any time I think necessary." Nürnberg are safe for another season in the Bundesliga, sitting in ninth place with two rounds to play.

'Outstanding job'
The former VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha BSC Berlin boss arrived at Nürnberg last November and quickly lifted the team away from the foot of the table. "Meyer has offered us another Bundesliga season," said club president Miachel A Roth. "He has done an outstanding job since he took over."
