Decisive strikes
AEK, Olympiacos's closest challengers in the Alpha Ethniki this season, had the better of the opening hour but were made to pay by goals from Michalis Konstantinou on 61 minutes, a Vladimir Ivić own goal (70) and Nery Alberto Castillo (90).
Missed chances
Konstantinos Katsouranis and Nikolaos Lyberopoulos, in particular, were unlucky not to score for AEK during their dominant start, and it was against the run of play that Konstantinou struck from close range. Ivić then turned in a Predrag Djordjević cross before substitute Castillo registered with a fine solo effort.
