Lucius looks forward at Feyenoord

Feyenoord have signed versatile midfielder Theo Lucius from Eredivisie rivals PSV Eindhoven with the 29-year-old keen to link up again with former team-mate Erwin Koeman.

Capped three times by the Netherlands, Lucius has moved to Rotterdam for an undisclosed fee and on a three-year contract with the option of a further 12 months if all goes well. He had one year left on his deal at PSV, the club where he spent seven seasons and played 21 times as they won the league championship for a second successive campaign in 2005/06. "This was the only club I wanted to play for after my time at PSV, and the fact Erwin Koeman is coach here was the decisive factor." Feyenoord will play in next season's UEFA Cup.
