Undisclosed fee
The Dutch club, who will enter the UEFA Cup in the first round, have settled on an undisclosed fee with Malmö for the 25-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfield player or an out-and-out forward. He will sign for the club later this week. Afonso Alves has spent the last five seasons in Sweden since signing for Örgryte IS in 2002. He scored 52 goals in 94 Allsvenskan games for the two clubs, having left Örgryte for Malmö in 2004.
