Paul Le Guen has continued his spending spree at Rangers FC by signing his French compatriot goalkeeper Lionel Letizi from Paris Saint-Germain FC.

Rangers FC have completed the signing of goalkeeper Lionel Letizi from Paris St Germain FC. The 33-year-old has penned a two-year deal and becomes Paul Le Guen's fifth signing since taking over at Ibrox.

'Huge club'
Letizi was allowed to leave PSG after they signed Mickaël Landreau from Ligue 1 rivals FC Nantes Atlantique, and replaces Dutch goalkeeper Ronald Wattereus who has left Glasgow after 18 months. "It's a huge club with fantastic support and I am looking forward to the new challenge under Paul Le Guen," said Letizi. The club will be involved in the UEFA Cup next season following their third-place league finish.

Ferguson recognition
