Former Juventus left-back Gianluca Pessotto was in a Turin hospital today in a serious condition after falling ten metres from a window at the club's headquarters.
Eleven seasons
The 35-year-old Pessotto, who became a Juventus director earlier this month after retiring as a player, suffered multiple fractures and internal bleeding but was said to be in a stable condition. During his eleven-season stay with the Bianconeri, Pessotto won six Scudettos, one UEFA Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup and one European/South American Cup. He also represented Italy on 22 occasions.
