Manchester City FC have made S.S. Lazio midfielder Ousmane Dabo their latest new recruit, with manager Stuart Pearce describing him as a "major asset".

Manchester City FC have made French midfielder Ousmane Dabo their third summer signing after his free transfer from S.S. Lazio.

'Major asset'
The 29-year-old has accepted a three-year contract after turning down the chance to stay in Rome. City manager Stuart Pearce said: "He will be a major asset to the squad. Ousmane is a vastly experienced holding midfield player and gives us more options." Dabo, capped three times by France in 2003, is the Premiership club's latest recruit after City signed 19-year-old goalkeeper Joe Hart and 33-year-old striker Paul Dickov. He played 31 times for Lazio last season, his third campaign in the Italian capital.
