Fenerbahçe SK were 5-0 winners at B36 Tórshavn tonight to cruise into the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
Zico success
The Turkish side had achieved a commanding 4-0 lead in Istanbul last week and finished the job in fine style. Turkey striker Tuncay Şanlı opened the scoring on the night just before half-time before Mehmet Yozgatlı struck ten minutes after the break. Can Arat, Selçuk Şahin and Murat Hacıoğlu completed the victory in the closing stages. Zico's team look set to meet FC Dynamo Kyiv for a place in the group stage, as they hold a 4-1 advantage on FHK Liepajas Metalurgs of Latvia before tomorrow's return in the Ukrainian capital. Despite defeat, B36 can take comfort from being the first Faroese team to reach this stage.
