Atlético to miss out on Mista

Mista has joined the lengthy injury list at Club Atlético de Madrid after straining a thigh muscle in Primera División action at the weekend.

The 27-year-old forward was forced off the pitch after 23 minutes of his side's 1-0 defeat at RC Deportivo La Coruña with medical tests yesterday revealing that he had strained a muscle in his left thigh. He is expected to be out for three to four weeks and will join Maxi Rodríguez, Martin Petrov, Miguel de las Cuevas and Gabi Fernández on the club's casualty list.
