Article body
Tony Mowbray has resigned as manager of Hibernian FC to take charge of West Bromwich Albion FC, who were relegated from the English Premiership last season.
New role
Mowbray, 42, joined Hibernian in 2004 after working on the coaching staff at Ipswich Town FC and led the Scottish Premier League club into European competition in each of his two seasons in Edinburgh. He will replace Bryan Robson, who left West Brom in September, and will be confirmed in his new role next Wednesday. "The club would like to thank Tony for all he has done during his time at Easter Road and wish him and his family every success in the future," a Hibs statement said.
