Genk lose Bošnjak for season

KRC Genk striker Ivan Bošnjak will miss the rest of the season after tearing cruciate knee ligaments during his side's 2-2 draw away to R. Excelsior Mouscron on Saturday.

Collision
The Croatian international was carried off after colliding with Mouscron goalkeeper Mark Volders on five minutes and tests revealed cruciate ligament damage in his right knee, ruling him out for seven months. The 27-year-old has scored six goals in 13 matches this season to help his side to a four-point lead over RSC Anderlecht at the top of the Eerste Klasse.
