Belarussian midfielder Valentin Belkevich has signed a new contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv to extend his decade-long stay at the club until the end of 2007.

Awards
The 33-year-old has won seven Ukrainian league titles and six Ukrainian Cups with Dynamo since joining in 1996 from FC Dinamo Minsk, where his tally was five league championships and two Belarussian Cups. Since his Dynamo debut against FC Arsenal Kyiv, the 1995 Belarussian Player of the Year has racked up 218 league and 66 European appearances for Dynamo and was named as the Ukrainian league's best player in 2001. In 2005 he retired from international football having won 56 caps.

League lead
Dynamo are out of the UEFA Champions League after finishing bottom of their group, but lead the Ukrainian Premier League at the winter break by four points and are yet to lose after 16 games.
