Second spell
The 24-year-old previously played ten games for West Ham in a loan spell during the 2004/05 season immediately after moving to Tottenham in a €4.6m transfer from Coventry City FC. Having made just 15 appearances in his time with Tottenham, he was happy to become the third player to arrive at West Ham this month after winger Luís Boa Morte and midfielder Nigel Quashie.
